Automatically extract details from a Trello comment to use in the card title

Use this automation to rename Trello cards using details from a card comment. For example, you can automatically extract a SendBoard reference number from an email and append it to the card name.

1. Set up the trigger

Trigger: When a comment containing "Reference: **[{?}]" is posted to a card with a name not containing "REF" 

2. Select the action

Action: Rename the card to "{cardname} - REF: {wildcard1}"
