6 ChatGPT plugins that will 10x your email productivity

Boost your productivity with ChatGPT plugins! We round up the six best plugins to try in your email workflow.

ChatGPT plugins are still relatively new and (while fun!) many of them don’t seem that useful unless you want to add your sales lead’s horoscope to your email!

With that in mind, we’ve collected some of the most useful ChatGPT plugins for business use cases, so that you can use them to write emails, lighten your workload and improve your workflow.

Note that plugins are only available on paid ChatGPT plans. There are some handy professional plugins out there, and it is a space that will grow over time!

6 ChatGPT plugins to try in your email workflow

1. Browse with Bing

The Browse with Bing plugin allows ChatGPT to search the internet and use what it finds in its response. This is particularly useful for quickly personalizing template emails with up-to-date information.

For example, if you’re writing a sales email addressed to a certain company, you can link to their website in your ChatGPT prompt and Browse with Bing can scan the page to find relevant information to include in your pitch. Here’s an example prompt:

Compose a compelling email addressed to [company] promoting a free trial of [your product or service]. Explain the benefit to their company and encourage them to try it out. Personalize the email with information from their website: [link].

2. Zapier

Zapier’s ChatGPT plugin lets you automate any task right from the ChatGPT interface. It’s great because there’s no need for any coding knowledge – simply describe the thing you want to do in plain language, and the AI model will interpret your text and create the Zap for you.

For example, you could write an email with ChatGPT, and then tell Zapier to send it for you from Trello using the Email for Trello Power-Up!

3. AskYourPDF

AskYourPDF can quickly extract, summarize and fact-check information in a PDF. If you need to get a summary out of a PDF document, this is a useful ChatGPT plugin to try.

For example, if you’re writing an email overview of the key points discussed in your company’s latest white paper, you can pop a PDF into ChatGPT to summarize and take the work out of condensing the information yourself!

4. DALL·E

Have a great email newsletter but no supporting images? Get DALL·E to help you out! Simply type a brief description of the image you need and the AI model will generate one based on your text.

5. Wikipedia

Ask questions directly in ChatGPT and it will use Wikipedia’s database to answer them!

If you work with a lot of factual information – for example, in a news room or media publishing house – the Wikipedia plugin for ChatGPT can help you to verify information for your emails quickly, without breaking the flow of your work.

6. Charts and diagrams

There are a number of plugins for creating flowcharts and other illustrations, including Whimsical, ShowMe and ChatGPT Diagrams. Which extension you choose to use depends on the type of visualization you need, but they are all super useful for generating and refining diagrams with ChatGPT in real time!

Whether you’re writing sales emails, explaining project management workflows or presenting company data, a well-placed diagram can really help people visualize your concept and bring the idea to life.
